MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER Cardiac Catheterization Suite

A new Cardiac Catheterization facility built on the fifth level of Mt. Sinai’s Guggenheim Pavilion, providing cardiovascular catheterization recovery and procedure spaces. This eleven thousand square foot facility houses an eight patient intake ability, nine catheterization suites and a twenty-bed recovery space. Also included in the construction were examination and administrative spaces.

MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER Cardiovascular Unit

 

This renovation of eighty-five hundred square feet of existing space now provides advanced treatment for cardiovascular patients. The one floor facility was converted from an existing administrative office suite into cardiovascular doctor’s offices, examination spaces, and administrative areas for the senior administrators of the hospital’s Cardiovascular Department.  Also included in the construction: reception areas, laboratory areas, family & patient waiting rooms, filing spaces, storage areas and a new conference room.

MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER Endoscopy

 

This project featured a gut renovation of existing space in order to provide a new self-contained Endoscopy unit.  This twelve thousand square foot facility is comprised of five procedure rooms for Ambulatory Endoscopic and recovery spaces, patient preparation areas, family waiting rooms and administrative space.

MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER Annenberg Recovery Unit

 

This project was undertaken to provide Mount Sinai with 5,000 square feet of space post-surgical recovery.  The unit was renovated in two phases, keeping 2500 square feet of recovery in operation at all times.

WEILL MEDICAL COLLEGE OF CORNELL UNIVERSITY Whitney Laboratories

 

This 10 story building featured a 6-floors of gut renovation with an added 2-story MER space built on the roof.  The new infrastructure systems were run throughout the facility and coordinated to existing service stations in the attached, occupied buildings.  Distribution systems were run through occupied areas while maintaining all essential services.  The project also included a new Electrical Service Riser System with local distribution and emergency power.

WEILL MEDICAL COLLEGE OF CORNELL UNIVERSITY Pediatric Development Laboratories

This renovation has provided the medical college with ninety five hundred square feet of new laboratory space for their Pediatric Development Research Department. A complete gut renovation was required in order to ready the existing space for laboratory operations

ST. LUKE’S ROOSEVELT HOSPITAL Women’s Center

 

This project featured gut renovations performed within a fully staffed and occupied medical facility.  The new Women’s Center is a 14,000 square foot patient treatment center whose amenities include specialty examination rooms, doctor/patient consultation rooms and associated administrative areas.  This project was programmed with an  8 week accelerated construction phase for fast tracking.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories

 

Expansion of existing Cardiac Care Dept. providing an additional laboratory.  Work includes additional infrastructure support.  Construction concerns include working within an owner/patient occupied area requiring close coordination with the Department of Infectious Control.

Patient Unit and Nurses Station

Project is part of a 3-story addition over the FDR Drive. Patient floor consisted of recovery unit and
private patient rooms. 10,000 square feet
